A small site with a deliberate point of view.

The brief did not need a conventional agency website. Gastric Amp needed a compact home for its identity and external channels, with enough presence to feel authored without burying the music under explanation.

The design uses a near-monochrome palette, oversized condensed type and restrained movement. Navigation leads directly to the platforms where the catalogue and current work live.

Art direction

The visual language borrows from record sleeves and studio equipment rather than a generic creative-agency layout.

Focused structure

A single page carries the identity, core disciplines and direct routes to social and listening platforms.

Production details

Responsive behaviour, privacy information, consent handling and lightweight assets were included in the live build.

How the build was shaped

The work began with the existing name, wordmark and head graphic. Those assets set the tone. The page was then reduced until every remaining element either established the identity or helped someone reach the music.

Local context: Brighton and Hove

Gastric Amp is based in Brighton and Hove. The location is stated as a factual part of the business identity, while the website remains useful to collaborators and listeners beyond the city.
